SUNDAY WALK

Description

This is my original artwork, using oil paint on cotton canvas. Framed in a classic look frame, ready to be hung. Size with frame 59x69cm. Top layer covered with varnish to protect against dust and UV light.

“Sunday walk” was inspired by a family walk in Townley Hall, Drogheda. Sunlight was shining through the trees and my kids were running up and down. Overall very joyful atmosphere.

I was fascinated by the contrast between a wall of dark green trees and the spots of bright sky. Composition was concentrated around shape of light and shadow. Thickly painted with visible brushstrokes. Juicy colours, clear texture of paint will bring an air of artistry to your interior.

Painting is shipped in flat protected package.

• Paintings purchased within Ireland will be delivered free of charge.
• Larger painting purchased outside of Ireland will be taken off their stretcher bars and rolled for shipping in large postal tube. The painting can then be re-stretched by your local framer.
